How to List Your Product: A Step-by-Step Seller Guide

Getting your coffee gear listed on SecondShot Market is quick and easy. Whether you’re selling a single item or building out your storefront, follow these steps to create a polished, complete product listing.

1. Register & Access the Vendor Dashboard

Start by clicking “Sell Now” at the top right of the homepage or any banner on the site prompting you to start selling. From there you will be prompted to register your seller account. Once you’re logged in, head to the Vendor Dashboard, click “Your Products” on the navigation bar on the right side of the page. Once you’re on the page you will click the “Add New Product” button on the top right of the page to get started.

2. Fill Out Product Details
  • Upload Photos: This may take a few minutes—be patient.
  • Enter Product Info: Include a clear title, select “Simple” as the product type, and choose a category.
  • Set Your Price: Use the “Retail Price” field for your sell price. If you’d like to run a discount, enter the price under “Discounted Price” and schedule a time window. For more info on how to determine the right sell price and product condition, check out our “How To Price Your Items” page.
  • Tags: Add short descriptors like “tamper” or “portafilter,” include the brand name and category (e.g. “Tamper”, “Pullman”, “Accessories”).
  • Brand: Use the tag field to enter the brand name.
  • Description: Include detailed info about the product’s condition, age, use history, packaging, accessories, and what’s included —  the more details the better!
3. Manage Inventory
  • SKU: Optional, for your internal tracking.
  • Stock Status: Set to “In Stock.”
  • Quantity: Check “Enable Product Stock Management” and input your quantity. (This will take your listing down once your item sells)
4. Shipping & Tax
  • Enter Dimensions & Weight of fully packaged product.
  • Select a Shipping Class that matches the product’s weight.
5. Add Attributes
  • Under the “Attributes” tab, select “Condition” and choose the correct condition for your product (e.g., New, Open-Box, Used, Scratch and Dent).
  • Click “Save Attribute.”
6. Final Touches
  • Under “Other Options”, make sure the listing is set to Online and Visible.
  • Disable product reviews if you’re selling a one-time product. Leave them on if you’ll restock regularly.
